Ridiculous amount of RNG, I can’t be assed to record a full run anymore after spending over 6 hours on this one run but here’s proof that May can solo Entei. 4 drops at the end shows it’s Gauntlet.
First off sorry that this isn’t a full clear recorded, I’m just tired of attempting this and want to work on planning for my Gauntlet streak. Second off, sorry for forgetting to turn on “do not disturb while recording”. Here I have a clip of an Entei solo that got really close only lacking that last acc drop to finish the stage (missing multiple Muddy Waters sucks I could probably have taken the first hit on bar 3 then nuked), and the ending portion of a successful run I didnt record fully because I didn’t realize until that point that I was not recording. This should show that May is fully capable of pulling off the solo, albeit with a ton of RNG.
In order to achieve the May solo, you need the ff:
1. Enough dodges so you dont die, that’s a given (preferably to bar 2 as you’re bruising there to have sync ready for bar 3, notably dodging Eruption on on bar 2 and Double Edge when it hits below 50%)
2. Dodge enough mind games so the second Swift after Entei’s sync doesnt absolutely destroy you
3. Trigger TM MPR enough times to supply your gauge
4. Enough acc drops from Muddy Water for sync to kill bar 3 outright. In order to nuke bar 3 from full at 1 sync nuke, you need rain to be up and Entei to be at -6 acc.
5. No Burns
6. Avoid Muddy Water misses since you can’t get both accuracy nodes
7. Dodge Fire Spin around twice if not using Escape Artist
Rain refreshes can help, but in the ideal scenario you don’t need the refresh.
If you are able to sync nuke bar 1 because you got enough acc drops and landed the crit in rain, you’ll need to damage control bar 2 in order to have sync up by bar 3. If you are not able to sync nuke bar 1, Entei will gain +2 accuracy upon hitting below 50% which is very much not ideal.
