The biggest hurdle in this run is keeping Silver alive. Morty does just fine thanks to his immense bulk save for some big hits at bar 3 which chunk him hard. Giving up Vigilance on grid for a lucky skill instead we take flameproof on SSMorty’s grid as well as Potion MPR. Had to keep resetting to get Silver’s TM to proc as well to reach +6 in both SpA and Atk.
This run was immensely lucky, getting 4 TM MPR procs on Morty to max out Silver’s defenses even after the Leer as well as 2 Potion MPR procs.
We spam Solarbeam due to Moltres’ double Fire Guard so we actually do more damage with it than with Overheat or Sacred Fire. Abusing Moltres’ own sun to fire off huge Inertia boosted Solar Flare 9+5 sycs since Fire Guard doesn’t stop sync damage.
