This F2P team is slightly invested because Zinnia EX and Winona are both equipped with Lucky Skills exclusively obtainable from Lucky Cookies awarded in Legendary Gauntlet. EX and Mega Evolution is a must-have for Zinnia to be able to clear the stage.
Zinnia EX has Weathered Warrior 3 for more overall damage and Winona has Headstart 1 to allow a bit of leeway in case flinch is not successful. Theoretically speaking, rolling Critical Strike 2 and Vigilance should also work, except it’ll be slightly more difficult and require much more precise queuing.
To produce an error-free pre-Sync run like the one demonstrated in video, you need to make sure these conditions are fulfilled, otherwise reset the battle:
– The first two Air Slashes have to flinch Looker and Poliwrath
– After flinching, time Winona’s next move right before your opponent’s move
– Roll at least one Hop to It! MPR with Hop & Zamazenta in order to max out CRIT
– All of Zinnia’s attacks should hit Looker
– Right before any of the AoE moves from the side opponents, make sure Hop is at full HP to survive the battle
– This is probably not the most important, but you need to sync with Zinnia at least twice in order to take out Looker
