A few days ago I saw a Dell bundle here in the sub, but I can’t find the post. The order page on Dell’s site is gone too. It was a white OLED system and a Dell $75 gift card for $350. The picture showed New Super Mario Deluxe and a Pro controller. People said the Bundle was just the system and gift card with a misleading picture. Some people on a deal site I use said Dell screwed up the with a similar picture last year.
I took a chance on it. Even if it was just a gift card, I could use it for a new monitor. Others said they would return it if the bundle didn’t include the extras. Yesterday I got the console only.
But today I got an email saying it was a mistake and that they’re sending the controller and game! In fact, I see there is tracking info, and I’ll get it on Monday!!! I want to share in case anyone is thinking about returning it. Check your email! I didn’t contact Dell or anything, so I think Dell just sent the email to everyone who ordered the bundle. Your dell account should show two new zero dollar orders for the extras.

I bought the bundle when it popped up, before knowing there was no “bundle”. I contacted customer service about the missing items.
To be clear I would have been okay and moved on if they just said they made a mistake on the listing, but they wouldn’t. They dodged questions about the picture, told me the “bundle” is the normal jouycons, stand, and cables, and wouldn’t acknowledge the lack of disclaimer that the controller and game are not included.
I don’t like being gaslighted like this so I escalated, filed a complaint with the BBB, a higher up emailed me apologizing and advising I would receive the missing items. Then received the same email as you today.
Props to Dell for honoring it. Between the gift card, the items, and Dell Preferred points, it ended up being $600 value for 350+tax

I got in on this too, from Wario 64 post. Figured worst case I would return it. OLED came in today and man the difference is noticeable on the screen!

Meanwhile, one of the largest electornics shop in EU “Mediamarkt”, canceled my Bayonetta 3 Collectors Edition 4 hours before the day of release. They promised a small discount code, but even that was never delivered via email 🙃. You guys have it good sometimes in the States. I remember when a retailer could not meet demand for the collectors edition for Ghost of Tsushima so they send everyone that had their orders canceled, the standard edition for free.
