Wish they would put FTL on the switch. Breach is great 👍

I’m still waiting on international delivery but really looking forward to having this one in my collection, bought it ages ago digitally and always thought it was a shame it didn’t get a physical release, so it was a very pleasant surprise that one got released so long after the fact

People who randomly end up on this thread: do yourself a favour and buy Into the Breach now!

Out of curiosity, has anyone found any other turn based tactics games that come close to the speed and tightness of IttB’s gameplay? I really like the gameplay of turn based tactics game and the satisfaction from making smart use of positioning and your team’s abilities, but find I just get frustrated by games with large scale battles that take 30+ minutes, so IttB is like the perfect pace for me, I’d love to play something with a similar pace of battle that has a bit more long term progression to it.
I had a lot of fun with Disgaea 5 as that also has pretty snappy battles (nowhere near as quick as IttB but feels faster than average), but that one is more about manipulating the myriad of systems and building an OP squad to one shot the enemy than it is about smart tactics
I’m currently revisiting Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle having bought it ages ago but not really getting into it at the time, it does have a pretty snappy pace to it and I am liking how you can make smart use of the dash and team jump abilities on top of the standard tactics gameplay, but some of the enemy types I just find annoying to deal with rather than tactical challenges
I feel like the answer is probably just ‘there’s nothing quite like IttB’, but doesn’t hurt to ask in case there’s some good ones I’ve missed

This is a really nice pick up and play game. It is better digitally IMO for that reason but nice to have the physical for the collection.
Also if you have a Netflix subscription this game is included in your subscription. Plays really nice on phones/ipads-tablets.
batz_man
Fuck this. Best games are Celetse, Hedas and Hello Night

Great game and once you get into it is very addictive. I gave in and got the digital version and the next month the physical one got announced.

Nice. Such an immediate and tactical thrill of a game. I was skeptical, but the game really impressed me. Really hope they continue to make more games in this vein of smart but immediate.

Dammit, is it too late for me to purchase a copy? I have a digital copy but I would prefer a physical one that I can loan to friends to try.

I’m so bad at this game, any tips?

Just a heads up: if you have Netflix this game is included and free to download and play from the Netflix app.

Such a fun game. I may have to pick up another copy even though I have it on Steam. I bet it’s great on Switch.

Great game. I got it on a digital sale back when I was getting games mostly digitally.
I mostly played it on PC a while ago and it’s an awesome game.

While I haven’t played Into The Breach, I have heard nothing but good things about it which I am inclined to believe, as I love FTL.
However, this release is by Fangamer and I have not forgotten their botched Hollow Knight physical release; if you haven’t heard about that, they advertised the full game with all DLCs but put an older version on the cart by mistake (they claimed), lacking the final Godmaster DLC that had to be downloaded separately (for free). They acknowledged their error and offered to exchange the carts for updated ones from the second run, but when I contacted them for this they told me they do not offer this exchange for customers outside the USA.
I hope this situation is not repeated for anyone, but for me it means I now forgo limited run physical editions, especially by Fangamer.

Hey man that’s awesome! Where did you order from? I can only find the USK classification and the rating covers half the box!

Really cool, but this looks like a stock photo and it was really distracting me.

Isn’t this free on mobile with a Netflix sub?

Fuck this game! (I’m just salty cause it kicked my ass many times over)
Lunar_Lunacy_Stuff
Will probably get some hate for this but I just received my copy from fangamer and I just can’t get into this damn game. I just die over and over. Is there some form of persistent upgrades I’m not understanding or is it really play till you die and repeat?

I’m having trouble getting into this. Not sure if it’s just not my style of game or if I’m missing something.
