    That used to happen to me as a child, the game shop owner knew my family and always gave me consoles and videogames before release date

    I’ve put 20 hours in over the last week. Refreshing game and different structure of the story compared to past games. I can say the game is extremely rough. Seems like they pumped it out before the holidays. Needs to be polished up quite a bit

    Damn i want that dual case 😢 It was not available here tho. They were selling only the normal dual pack.

    Scarlet separately had a steelbook and a pin
    Violet didn’t have any bonuses. I preordered both separately so i can get the scarlet steel atleast.

    I have the SW/SH it was gonna fit perfectly with this one, but i guess not. Grats on you tho

    I’ll never stop being impressed at Gamefreaks normalizing people buying two full priced games that are effectively the same all those years ago.

    The worst part about digital purchases is that the new Pokémon games are on my Switch I can totally see them but I can’t play them

    Nice… this is actually going to be my first Pokémon game since I use to emulate emerald when I was really young. I hope I enjoy it and hope you do too!

    I just never get why people buy both versions? I am honestly curious why you chose to buy both? Is it just because you wanted the case? Do you actually plan on playing both copies?

    I have just never seen any reason to buy both versions since the only differences are some small cosmetic changes and a few different Pokemon that you can get via trading.

    I’m behind on my pokemon playing trying to catch up. Playing shield right now and not really enjoying it.
    Didn’t enjoy sun and moon either.

    Legend arceus is after shield right? And then scarlet and violet?
