I had this setup when I used to live in a more rural area…now I’m in the city centre and have zero stops or gyms a can spin from my house. Roll on level 37/38 whatever it is in like a year for me to add a pokestop

That is really good. From my house I only reach one pokestop but if I go out for a walk I usually visit 7 nearby gyms(6 of the gyms are in packs of three)

My brother started playing PoGo with his son a couple months ago, so as a favor I nominated this little picnic area across the street from his house as a PokeStop and it got accepted! Then I guess one of his neighbors goes really hard on the game, because every time I would come over to visit the stop was always at level 3 in the AR scanning and seemed to always have a lure up that wasn’t my brother’s. Now he sends me a screenshot of his house in the game, there’s 3 more PokeStops and my waypoint I nominated is now a gym. So my brother and his son who only play really casually have 24 hour access to a gym and 3 pokestops and I have 24 hour access to jealousy.

I live by a small dog park. There used to be two Pokéstops in the park; now one of them has been upgraded(?) to a gym. There is another gym right across the street, which I can access without leaving the condo complex.
During the pandemic, I operated a rescue shelter for imaginary animals and bought more Pokémon storage and item storage. My brothers were critical of that until I pointed out that it was something to do indoors during quarantine without talking to myself. It was a fun distraction.

Nice. I’ve got one stop and one gym I can reach from my house and I can walk across the street to a little park for three gyms and a fair number of stops. For the first couple of years the game was out there was nothing I could get to without driving so when stuff started popping up across the street it was a blessing.

I’ll bet there’s an ugly green electrical box somewhere near you. Go to your local city hall meetings and suggest a beautification initiative. If you can volunteer to paint these one of these for the cities it will convert the electrical box into a price of artwork created by you the local artist. Plenty of these types of boxes around my city as stops

The nearest pokestop from me is annoyingly far. I have to walk like two streets. My girlfriends mum lives in the middle of nowhere, the entire town has about three all together, yet I can reach the one gym and the pokestop from her house. Here, nothing, and I’m right near the city. 😭😭 but I’m currently level 36 so one more to go and I’m nominating the old victorian lampost behind my house as a pokestop, the roundabout bus stop and the shitty little community centre than nobody even knows about. Hopefully I’ll be able to make one of those a gym eventually.
