Due the lack of good meta pokemon and good IVs I'll run Piplup in the lead, and Vulpix and shadow Chikorita in the back. What do you think?
I think Clauncher is a sleeper pick – with smack down (better than rock throw) and water charge moves you beat dewpider and all the fires, including slugma.
all under 500 cups are basically a roll of the dice.

I can't see enough redeeming factors to spending 300k+ stardust to get decent specimen of these pokemon up to 500cp with double-moves. Do you think single-moved versions with high attack IVs would be worth playing, or should I just skip this week?

I'd recommend you go check all the pokemons rated 100 in consistency, last one will make you laugh maybe:)

I think I'm done for the season. Not interested in spending ~220k dust on a Dewpider + Dewpider counter + new Vulpix.
Catch Cup is definitely a no go for me as well. It's a shame Niantic ended the season with this. I feel bad for anyone still hoping to hit Legend in the remaining 2 weeks

Been using vulpix, shadow chikorita & piplup. Works decently well for me, for some reason some people never shield the drill peck

I feel at such low CP it purely comes down to a good lead. If you get countered hard in your lead itself and you switch, a very high chance that they would have a hard counter for your switch too, since it's only Water, grass and fire. What do you think?
There's absolutely NO WAY I'm spending dust to power up or build any pokemon just for this cup😂😂💯 Thankfully,I have sufficient Mon to win and build dust,but at the cost of my Elo😵💫I absolutely HATE rock,paper, scissors cups so I'm only gonna do the bare minimal 🎯I just wanna win enough to stock up on my charged or fast move tm's,with earning rare candy as a bonus🤟🏽🔥
