I had a Chandelure I dropped in a rural gym that was like that, once it hit 300 days I stopped hoping for it to come back and instead just wanted it to get to a year. Then someone finally kicked it out… At 356 days.

I wasnāt very polite, I admit, but when I saw him put his level 40 tyranitar in one that I had spent 2 weeks catching as many larvitar for him as possible for to trade I got really angry and he got angry at me and we didnāt speak for a couple of days until he asked me why they hadnāt come back and why he hadnāt gotten his coins as it had been at least a day….
You know they will both come back the same day too lol

When I first started playing in March I thought it was 50 coins for every day it stayed in a gym so I tried keeping them in for as long as I could until I realized it was literally just 50 coins until it comes home. It got kicked out after 4 days and I was like wtf, I only got 50 coins? š¤¦š»āāļøš

I thunk my longest streak was about 130 days too. It’s an empty feeling when you get your Mon back. You get maybe 50 coins, but your streak is over

Could you imagine if they both got knocked out on the same day? And you can only get 50 coins per day max. That would suck so much

The coin system is garbage and they should really rework how we acquire them, or get rid of them altogether.

I will never forget the time my ex boyfriend was out on a trip with his family to rural countryside here in Scotland and sent me a text like āTHERE ARE SO MANY EMPTY GYMS HEREā with screenshots of him putting all of his best PokĆ©mon in them.
I sent him a flurry of frantic messages asking him to stop as he wouldnāt get them back. Of course he told me to stop being an asshole as they were his favourite PokĆ©mon to use. I explained several more times that if nobody kicks them out, they could be there forever.

He was like this when it came to PokĆ©mon go. I could also recount the time he traded me a Tauros (Iām from Scotland so itās a regional) and I told him 5 times he couldnāt get it back if he traded it to me and then got angry at me that I wouldnāt trade it back to him.
