    He’s definitely a boss. I think Peach will have to collect the stars before Bowser does. So that’s why her and Mario are galaxy hopping.

    It looks like Mario has to beat DK to earn the Planet of the Kongs power star. That’s the vibe I’m getting anyways.

    I can’t quite put my finger on it, but what Miyamoto said was right. He REALLY does look like old school Donkey Kong somehow. What exactly is it?

    But I do hope that future DK games keep the Rare/DKC style look of the Kongs. Still prefer them that way.

    The Kongs in the crowd are all wearing clothing. Makes DK seem like a crazy naked guy.

    I really like the look. It feels a lot more animated. Wonder if Nintendo will use that going forward, or if it’ll just be for the movie(s).

    An amazing touch is how DK’s tie acts as an arrow, that’s pointing toward their cameos

    I’m more intrigued at the addition of Cranky Kong, as seen in the trailer.

    My working theory is that, as the original Donkey Kong, Cranky fought the original Mario, as voiced by Charles Martinet (confirmed to be in the film in an undisclosed role), and Pratt-rio his Americanized grandson.

    The Rare DK design is so much better. I mean, it’s *the* iconic look.

    Aside from that, this movie looks beautiful.

    Whats weird is isnt swanky kong riding with funky in that shot where everyone is in karts? Or at least, thats what i thought, i remember him having frizzy hair and wearing just a top part of a suit, although it could just be another kong with crazy hair
