Think about it, a Fighting Cup with a Psychic/Fight Pokemon Gallade with Confusion will destroy the meta 😀

gallade, medicham, (both psychic dual type) and sneasler (good stats and shadow claw / aerial ace access) are all banned.
Throh is the only pokémon allowed that has a psychic attack. his stats and charge moves are garbo though.
a few have flying attacks:
H-Sneasel has aerial ace, which is the only one that won’t de-buff you, but it’s stats are also less than ideal.
combusken has peck as a fast attack.
all the others below have brave bird:
G-zapdos, G-farfetch’d, sirfetch’d, blaziken.
Why tf would they allow a mon with a direct counter to fighting types? Ya know, the type you are limited to…
Is there any way to put different GBL restriction filters in the search bar? It’s so awkward trying to build a team from the battle page because you can’t use TMs so I’ve fallen victim to this a few times
Psychic types and a select few fighting types are banned. Also skorupi.
Somewhere on website it says that Dual Psychic and Fighting types are banned, because everyone would pick psychic type pokemon.
They banned it because of charm
Just use Throh and stop complaining

I was really surprised to see Hakamo-o is banned from the cup. Mine is my buddy right now so that was somewhat disappointing. It’s not even a super effective dual type! (Dragon/Fighting)
