It just works.

The Zelda team said they took influence from Skyrim for BOTW, so theyd probably say the feeling is mutual.

There’s no way lex did a podcast with todd, I need to watch this
FluentInStroll
This interviewer is brutal.
Caliber70
For any developer, not praising botw only makes you look petty and arrogant. This really isn’t news.
Kakaphr4kt
Howard is a hack
Dopesmoker402
I mean of course he would say that. Botw stole half its identity from skyrim and fallout

Whenever someone praises BOTW I feel like I missed something huge. It was such an empty game for me, made worse but annoying constant weapon changes.

It’s over.

No wonder he liked it. BotW played just like any Bethesda game but with less obstruction. And it isn’t suprising that people liked it after Skyrim success.
Langis360
The cynic in me wants to say that he should since it’s better than any Elder Scrolls game, but the reasonable human being in me understands that Elder Scrolls influenced a lot of BotW’s design.

Why did the interviewer even mention BOTW if he hasn’t played it?
tastypoobutt
Isn’t this the guy who let Ye spray his anti-semitic Hotep shit?
kylechu
If only he had a model for a Bethesda published game in one of their IP’s that was super open from the start and only gated naturally by player skill and knowledge.
