I rotate between 10 buddies to get the best buddy medal quicker. My 10 atm are:
1. Shiny Shadow Venusaur
2. Shiny Shadow Charizard
3. Shiny Shadow Blastoise
4. 100% Ampharos
5. 100% Blaziken
6. 98% Shadow Salamence
7. 96% Shiny Latios
8. 100% Lucario
9. 98% Shiny landorus-T
10. The pink Oricorio

My 94% Shiny Ho-Oh that was my first shiny legendary that i got out of a research reward back in 2019 that ive been working on getting max level
mine’s a shiny alolan muk, bc i just think he’s neat. i want him to be my first best buddy before i swap to my shiny gallade
Sylveon because it already had high hearts from getting it up there to evolve, left it there and got it to best buddy. I also bought the hoodie so we match:)

A best buddy 96% Shadow Mamoswine. Because he’s a monster.
Galarian Zapdos because i still cant believe i actually caught it.
Mine is shadow mawile because imo it’s really cool and then after that I’ll switch to absol because it’s one of my favourite Pokémon
Lucario, because I have no missing dex entries for candy and while I have a number of good fighting and Steel types, I always run into random situations where Lucario is the best mon possible. Also great against Giovanni
slowpoke because i’m about to evolve her into a slowbro, then eventually get a slowking
Husian Overqwil. I caught it as a Qwilfish and wanted to evolve it. You have to win 10 raids with Qwilfish as your buddy before you can evolve it. Also, needed a few more candies and walking with your buddy gets you more candies. I’ve now evolved it, but I keep my buddies until they get their Best Buddy ribbon before switching them out. Only a few hearts away now. Overqwil looks really awesome too, imo.

Gallade, my first catch, him and I have been together since day 1.
He is an absolute Gigachad, and has saved my butt SO many times.
Zephy the dunsparce, (my 2nd fave Mon), and he will remain forever… Or until my favorite (Mimikyu) gets added
