If I ever get the guts to do a joycon shell replacement I’m going to do a blue transparent set. I don’t know why transparent controllers aren’t more common, they look SO cool!

Nice dude/dudette I did translucent blue(ice blue) shell swap on my switch and did an ACNH shell + dock shell swap for my GF along with joycon + battery swaps. I definitely wish I had more joycons to do because damn I had fun

I refurbed a busted switch lite I got for $65. It was missing both joysticks and looked like it went through a sugar hurricane of a child. Now it’s in a white shell, new screen, and basically everything is new. I’ve just been putting off new adhesive for the screen and a new daughter board.

I really like the white ones that came with it. However, the directinal buttons stress me out. My buddy helped me put a D-Pad I ordered WOW. No matter how you shell your joy-con, set up a D-Pad for the directional buttons 💯💯
I like the Super Famicom buttons.

Weird titbit but for some reason the romanization of 抹茶 is matcha. It should technically be maccha.
Fyi, do not change the shells on a dark surface. The screws practically disappear. Source: learned the hard way.
