    Leave as shadow!

Edit- Damn people, why you taking this seriously? No need to dislike my comment, it makes the community look cringy, and stupid.

If you leave it like that it will be the No.1 PvP Sableye, but you’ll have to rely only on Foul Play because Power Gem is not great.

If you Purify it lowers to the 23th spot, but gains Return and becomes stronger and cheaper to power up.

There’s no way to get a purified No.1 without trading and getting very lucky, so in this case it might be better to purify.

Everything I’ve read is that purified Sableye is best Sableye for PvP with ‘return’ as the second charge move. I’m not 100% sure on the best IVs, though.

  4. It is rank 1 shadow sableye and rank 1 purified sableye so you decide. You can get the r1 purified with other iv spreads but not the shadow, which is a very cool spice pick

  5. Sparrowboiz

Pretty sure it’s will be Hundo when you purify it

Purified Sableye with return is meta, the shadow is not. Sableye doesn’t have the highest defense so the shadow version if very glassy. The purified won’t have the defense debuff and Return is an excellent charge move for Sableye. Keep in mind Rank 1 just means it has the highest bulk. ✌️

I’ll keep it as shadow since rank 1 shadow is quite rare. Of course, purified sableye is definitely better, but u have higher chance to get another purified rank 1. Also sometimes it’s recommended to build a slight Atk purified one.

Edit: The purified rank 1 is 3/14/15. And it’s important to know how CMP affects sableye matchups.

I would definitely purify and take this thing to Great League glory! Been nonstop hunting for one that’s even close to these IVs by targeting only Sierra in this Rocket Leader rotation. Nice one!

Sableye is one of the few shadows worth purifying (for pvp), and with these IVs? 🤌🤌

Keep it shadow. Niantic make move changes and it isn’t out of the realm of possibility that they buff Power gem or add additional moves. You could always purify down the line, but can’t take it back later if you do

  11. I’m confused, but I’m also a noob. Yeah he has max hp and max defense, but literally the worst attacks. Purifying him won’t increase his attack that much, right? What am I missing.

Purify, the mon is useless. Only good for pvp with return. But power it up first then purify. It’ll cost less candies

  13. EX_Joker

Oh I’m jelly, sableye is very tricky pokemon, very decent in GO and my favorites speedster in Unite~

  14. SlowResearch2

Absolutely purify for return. That is going to have such good competitive IVS in GBL.

  15. MUFkOedipusWrecks9

If you want it for pvp it needs return so def purify

  16. lolNimmers

Don’t you want the hundo purified sableye for PvP?

  17. Mindless-Jump-7656

I’ve got a purified one myself, best decision I could have made for GL pvp.

  18. Haunting-Ad2850

Go for it! I’m 5xl candies away from finishing up my sableye. Worth it!

  19. MrMimikyu1998

Rank 1 Shadow, rank 2 purified. It’s up to you. I got myself a 1/12/15 back in November and I purified it because its IVs as purified were 3/14/15, which is a rank 1 purified and I really wanted to use it however I don’t have a lot of Sableye Candy XL and I have yet to use it since I’ve been using my 15/14/14 for the last year because it’s cheaper although the extra HP wouldn’t hurt to have.

I have exactly this sableye too, definitely worth purification as it learns return, gets 1 rank in great league at these IVs, it can be useful there! Only con is that its a massive grind to get him to 1500cp

  21. return is a great nuke although many times and i mean many times you never use it.

look at last years world championships and see how many sableyes even used the move return.

not a lot. while it’s recommend to have, more often than not it goes unused.
