    Do you have a picture of the ones you renamed? All I see is throh, jynx, carracosta, etc.

    I name them based on the gym I’m going to put them in, so I can quickly tell which gym they got knocked out of.

    Your friends can see the nickname. Other trainers cannot. So it isn’t all lost.

    i feel you mate, the arena i usally go for is always won back by a name called something with Ralf so all pokemon I put in there have some variation of his name. My togekiss for example is called “Hey Ralf” I hoped someday he might get the joke 🙁

    I do the same thing but i replace the Jim part of the name with Gym. Like Gymothy, Gymbo, Gymenez, etc. All Aggrons with 2000+ cp except for that has 570cp named Little Gymmy
