I don’t like the de buffs from draco so I got rid of it

Having two of the same type is not recommended. If you encounter a rock pokemon, both Gyarados and Dragonite are toast since they’re both weak against rock type.

    My recommendation:

Melmetal should keep Thunder Shock and give him rock slide and superpower

Gyarados should have dragon breath and give him Aqua Tail (legacy) and crunch

Dragonite should keep dragon breath and give him dragon claw and superpower

  4. melmetal should have thundershock + rock slide + superpower

G-dos should have waterfall or dragonbreath, + aqua tail(etm) and crunch

dragonite should have brath + claw + superpower

Great league starts today so you’ll have some time before you need your ML team again

Not a bad team, but you should definitely change some moves.
Dragonite is better with Superpower and Dragon Claw as Charge Moves
Gyarados is better with Crunch and Aqua Tail (Legacy) as Charge Moves

Moreover, if you Pokémon are not over lvl40, i suggest trying Master League Premier with does not allow legendaries and lvls over 40. You should just replace Melmetal

My ML team atm is: 98% Ursaluna, 98% Dragonite, 100% Chandelure

I tanked heavily to rank 18 but I just finished my 30 ML matches for lv43 progress and out of last 20 matches I won 17.

The mons are good, the movesets are horrible. Melmetal runs Thunder Shock, Rock Slide and Superpower. Maybe Flash Cannon if you want to be spicy.
Gyarados needs Aqua Tail as a bait move, and then it runs, most of the time, Crunch. Any fast move in it except for Bite is viable, but personally i would run Dragon Breath and use either it or Dragonite to draw counters to each other (mostly fairies). Be warned that you need an Elite TM for Aqua Tail.
Dragonite runs either Dragon Breath or Tail as the fast move, and it absolutely NEEDS Dragon Claw. Currently the most viable secondary move is Superpower for Steel types, but it can run Hurricane or Draco Meteor as a secondary move, but i do recommend Superpower over them.

Dragon claw on nite. Meteor is bad. Prolly dragon breath on gyara.

  11. dragonite needs to have dragon claw. It gets it so quick so opponents will burn up their shields on it.

  12. A lot of people in here saying dragon breath for Dragonite. I use dragon claw and it beats dragon breath dragonites and does chunky damage on other mons. I’ve used both and had much better results with dragon claw.

My ML team is magnezone, dragonite, and metagross. Magnezone is there to trick opponents with both mirror shot and zap cannon. Once the shields are gone metagross will start to use psychic. Finally dragonite will use dragon claw. If anyone wants to add to the team then please tell me.

I would not have melmetal in lead, just judging from the leads people typically use. I think gyarados would be the best

so many people have hundos in ML it’s barely worth playing if you can’t max and have a hundo 😮‍💨 you’re going to lose more mirror match ups than you’d like on drag and gary as a result

Is it just me or is it always pleasing to watch people use the dragon meta? Cause the more popular it is the more I just run Mamoswine or another really good Ice or Fairy type and manage just fine.
Then run two other counters to expected counters to ice and fairy.
Current team for ML is Mamoswine, Reshiram, and Ursaluna. Usually win at least 2/5 matchups but that’s only because I don’t have the candy or stuff since I’m just starting out in the PvP world. I’ll take 2/5 over 0/5 any day though.

*Sits back sippin on margaritas while tanking pvp with a purified mewtwo*

“Oh maybe if you put hydro pump on it it’ll slap real fuckin hard”

    *FFs another match*
    *Sips*

I always beat gyrados real easily with a cp2500 Jolteon, I’d recommend something else

Why would you want to play ML when you can’t afford second attacks or maxing out your Pokémon and your Pokémon aren’t close to perfect? When you could be playing GL or UL and using your dust to explore all kinds of fun combos? I just don’t get it. I was so excited for the lower leagues to open back up today.

And how are people in these comments with these crappy teams really winning lots of matches? If you win lots of matches you will move up the ranks pretty quickly and then start losing if your team sucks. That’s not my idea of fun.

Put Rock Slide on Melmetal, ideally unlock second move and make it Superpower.

But Dragon Breath as a fast move on Gyarados, charged moves are OK if you don’t want to use Elite TM for Aqua Tail.

Use Dragon Claw on Dragonite, ideally Superpower as a second move if you unlock it.
