Nintendo Switch

I’m going to be challenging Champion’s Road tomorrow, and am dedicating the whole day to beating it. It’s the last level I have to beat to get a 100%, but I also know it’s the hardest. Any tips?

    Book two more days.

I did it on Wii U. It’s a very rewarding challenge.

Don’t try to use gimmicks to beat this level. It will take time with trial/error, but beating the level with no frills is the most efficient way to do it.

  3. Take breaks. That’s probably my most importent advise I can give you. Don’t get too frustrated and when the moment comes that you get unfocused and die more often than normal (and this moment will definitely come after a few hours) turn the Switch off, go for a little walk outside and try it again. Do you only want to beat it with one singe charakter or with each one?

I loaded up on the infinite lives glitch and went in with a spare Cat suit for the Piranha plant towers.
Then at the very end with the shockwaves, took my time doing circles in the middle until I had moments to grab the keys

If you have it, use the Mario Cat Amiibo. The Invincibility Bell won’t guarantee the win, but it’ll get you far.

Really helps to have a second player. Best it with my sister and there were places where I would just throw her in cat form to skip some switching platforms

come in with max lives from using infinite 1 up trick, then just commit to a character (no power ups,I did Mario) and memorize the level. random tips: you can run over gaps bigger then you think, remember you have the mini jump if you just tap jump vs holding it, holding back panic is the hardest part. it’s best to commit to momentum most of the time, it’s designed for that. took me like 4 hours on Wii u, and then maybe 1.5 on the Switch one. if you wanna cheese the other characters, just use other controllers to grab them at the very end… can do it in 2 goes then.

The most stressful part of this level is making sure to get the top of the flagpole stamp

  9. Have on catbell in your inventory and used it at the end so you dont miss the top of the finish pole.
