I mean people such as Rich of ReviewTechUSA on YouTube complain the Switch is a underpowered potato compared to the Steam Deck: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p64In2sFAZ8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p64In2sFAZ8), yet I see these two native large scale UE4 cross-gen downports AA games on Switch that rival some of the best work of Panic Button, Saber Interactive, QLOC, Feral Interactive, etc. Heck these port are so good they rival the base Xbox One/PS4 versions of the respective games with quality and performance that rival them rather reasonably well considering the hardware limitations of the Switch. Heck the fact they are native modern large scale UE4 cross-gen downports AA games that are not lazy half-assed cloud stream ports (looking at you PS2/PSP/3DS/Movie collection root Kingdom Hearts cloud ports) proves the system is still reasonably powerful despite showing it age. And how do these mid tier AA games get better results then poorly optimized Switch in mind games like Pokémon Scarlet and Violet which runs like crap and looks like a HD res 3DS game in comparison is a total joke!

And mind you Milestone on Switch prior to Hot Wheels Unleashed where not very good, but this one is one of the companies best native work on Switch, maybe helped from the fact that the developer got more experience over time with the system combined with matured dev kits/UE4 engine on Switch over time and the financial backing from Embracer Group might have paid off, and mind you Saber Interactive (another Embracer company) might have helped Milestone pull the black magic on this one considering the Steam version has rather beefy system requirements well above the Nintendo Switch hardware: [https://store.steampowered.com/app/1271700/HOT\_WHEELS\_UNLEASHED/](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1271700/HOT_WHEELS_UNLEASHED/), and for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles case, this was a timed rival system release before the Switch port came out in June last year and CyberConnect2 really did a rock solid job despite not being made with the Switch in mind and putting a poorly optimized Switch in mind games like Pokémon Scarlet and Violet to shame and even more laughable considering Pokémon Scarlet and Violet runs like crap and looks like a HD res 3DS game in comparison is a total joke!

Heck CyberConnect2 on Switch did other UE4 ports such as DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT and indie self published work such as Fuga: Melodies of Steel both of which turned out rather well so this dev knew what they where doing with UE4 before the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles Switch port came out which is rather nuts indeed! Also will the upcoming late Switch port of Hogwarts Legacy push the Switch even further then both mentioned games considering this is even newer and more demanding combined with it being a open world title only time will tell as WB Games is rather hit and miss when it comes to Switch ports?

Do you guys think these two port need more credit where credit is due considering these are some of the best native large scale UE4 cross-gen downports AA games on Switch that rival some of the best work of Panic Button, Saber Interactive, QLOC, Feral Interactive, etc.? And what other large scale cross-gen downports games on Switch that push the system hard with impressive results regardless if it is AAA, AA or Indie produced?
