A shiny is a shiny. Usually transfer to HOME and add them to other games I play

Once Pokemon home is out for S/V I’ll probably send duplicates there for VGC. For now I keep them to potentially trade or whatever, may as well at least once!

Keep them, because the whole concept of shinies is pointless. Most of them are just color pallet swaps and often make the Pokémon just uglier.
Like… A shiny Spinda shouldn’t have the usual dots, a shiny Spinda should have spiral patterns on it making it stand out. But reality is, the dots on a shiny Spinda are a really weak shade of green.

Gym trophy. On another note, slugma was my first ever (real) shiny encounter back in Soul Silver. Let my GF borrow my DS for a trip and forgot about my shiny (named Mercury) and she reset my game. I haven’t encountered another one since 😅
