I was talking with someone that I played the Wii version with a few months ago and we reminisced about Dokapon and we were sad that a Switch game hadn’t come out.

The original cheated so bad it made Mario Kart 64’s rubber-banding AI look fair in comparison. I wonder if they’ll tweak it to make it more fair.

This is one of my favorite games of all time. I played the super Nintendo version in Japanese with my buddies for years!!! We couldn’t read Japanese, so we started translating some of the spells. All without Google,

However, they didn’t introduce “Green Jr. The richest man in the world” in the kooky character section.

I highly recommend this, but at the same time, this is basically identical to what I already have (I probably won’t be playing online), so will probably be passing myself. A new game or at least some new content would have been great for fans of the Wii / PS2 game, but at least the series is alive.

I just started playing dokapon with my boyfriend because he loves it. It’s very fun and we haven’t gotten very far but he LOVES IT. I’m excited for it to come to switch now!

God this game was so unbalanced and became on-sided so easily, made for some very goofy and fun playthroughs. Can’t wait to replay it.
