“As a result, during the early stages of development, Alear frequently expressed her fear of the enemies and made unheroic statements.
A story with a relatable protagonist sounds intriguing.
Tei: Well, Nintendo let us know that we overdid it. (Laughs)”
It’s so sad that part. An enjoyable change from the norm would have been nice.

>But in this title, we wanted to simplify the story structure by having one major goal, so that players can put their full focus into enjoying the tactical gameplay.
FUCK YES. This makes me SO HAPPY. A new, ACTUAL FE game that isn’t walking around a lameass university or town or whatever the fuck. Put me on a grid so I can do some goddamn battle. I am fine with mashing A to get through conversations, but lets to to the actual meat of the game again finally and maximize THAT aspect.

I love strategy and tactics games, mostly on the PC. Every time a Fire Emblem game is released I buy it, get 3-4 hours in, and realize I don’t really like it. Then I tell myself to quit buying them. Then the next one comes out and I buy it.
We’re getting close to that time again. The circle of life never stops spinning.
