As someone who was and still is madly in love with pretty much all of Three Houses, I’m annoyed we can’t have a Fire Emblem game with solid gameplay and a really good plot that gets you invested. I can only hope for next time.

I think you would enjoy the hard difficulty. The third map wmin the village is a serious match, no waiting for chapter seven for a challenge. It will also give you the sense of survive x turns as every turn you are trying to keep your units alive.
I just started, so I can’t speak to the later difficulty or if leveling marks hard trivial. I can definitely say the early game has been a blast.

The controls are horrendous. Not sure how that got by internal playtesting.
