Using only Pokemon from the Paldea Pokedex. I had to re-record Rounds 2 and 3. Round 4 took a lot of tries, but the video is a bit borked at parts. Don’t exactly want to redo that.
00:00 – Round 1 – Ghost-weak Phoebe
With the very recent upgrade to Fantina, why not try her out in a Ghost-weak stage? This trio does work because Sawyer helps with the offensive buffs while Lucian is the rare special defense debuffer for Fantina’s multipliers.
02:30 – Round 2 – Fairy-weak Sidney
I haven’t used Lisia in a fairy weak clear as a damage dealer in 2k MM before, so it’s good to get that out of the way against the toughest regional CS in Hoenn. Took a while, but it’s part of the theme so it works!
06:09 – Round 3 – Dragon-weak Drake
Not the first time I’ve used BP Zinnia in a dragon-weak stage and definitely won’t be the last. Just using Eevee to max our defenses while BP Zinnia tries to flinch as much as possible. BP Surge is here for the crit buffs and quicker attack buffs (since BP Zinnia has Mad Strength 9). The key for this one is to try to keep the mid alive so don’t have to worry about the AOE moves at the sides – which is something I rarely do.
09:07 – Round 4 – Fire-weak Glacia
This one was annoying. Blue couldn’t defeat this with EX at Level 140 and CS2, so I switched the lucky skill to WW3 and went to 150. Had to use my best support though.
11:33 – Final – Ground-weak Steven
It’s Ash and SST Red. I have no good ground types that are in the initial 400 since I don’t have Cynthia and Garchomp. Winning was always going to happen with those two master fairs.
