I could only find a reddit post that contained some games, so I decided to make an actual chart with games that I’ve (mostly) tested myself. As of writing, only two aren’t tested by me because their compatibility is already documented by others. As a disclaimer, a game doesn’t need to detect the controller to have “official support”. If the developers add a layout or mention the GameCube controller being compatible, then it’s fair game. Hopefully you guys enjoy and feel free to request games for me to test!
The chart [can be found here.](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-FHfXWsgAPr398PXa-dX6F5UjuGAxD_bWvUh5Mu44-o/edit)

You can add Mario Kart to fully playable
If you’re open to making this a community research effort, I wouldn’t mind helping test compatibility for any games I own that aren’t on this list.
Am I correct in assuming that games originally made for GameCube will function fine? I just found my old controller and I bought RE4 on a whim, so now I’m waiting for the adapter to show up.
As far as I’m aware, any game that is compatible with the Pro Controller is alsp compatible with the GameCube controller. Of course, the GameCube controller lacks ZL, Home, and Minus, so you’ll have to take that into consideration.
