But Pokemon Go is a spin of game
2023, with the multiple universe theory, this still makes sense. Perhaps the in-world politics took a different turn and we bypassed the war and eventually agreed on battling other trained pokémon but outlawing attacking unsuspecting, untrained wild pokémon, hence the berry&ball-only catch method. 🤔
