But…. Why? (not being a d*ck, I’m just struggling to see the reason for it)

I guess there’s a market for it, but I’d rather play on my 2DS XL instead…Maybe even the DSi XL.

Or you could just, like, take the joy cons off. It seems like it would be a little too to heavy, also the switch is already like handheld so I don’t see a reason to make the screen up there.
There were storage cases that did let you carry it like this, the tablet in one half of the case and the Joy-Con and accessories in the other half.
But I’ve never seen any that allowed you to PLAY like this… At that point it just feels like regular handheld with extra steps.

This seems completely unnecessary and more inconvenient than anything else

You’re getting too much shit for this. Yeah sure its a weird (kinda stupid) idea, but its fun lol. Someone else mentioned wrist fatigue and yeah I think that would by far be the biggest issue with this setup.

This has the same vibe as those useless wiimote accessories that transform your wiimote into golf club

Without a second screen, there’s not much “like a DS” about it.

If the Switch was lighter, yes.

That seems inconvenient, and probably heavy.

I would buy this attachment. The lower screen area could be a portable battery slot to balance the weight.

Just go all the way and add another Switch tablet in there.

They already kind of did this, and it never got popular.
