    at what level do you unlock rare XL candy? I thought it was 40 if its not ill be very disappointed

    Congrats! I’m guessing the one achievement you’ve already gotten is the Platinum medal one? It’d be hard not to have gotten at least 5 Platinum medals by the time you reach level 40, especially if you’ve been playing since the start.

    Congrats!! My start date was 7/16/2016 – I hit level 40 on 2/9/2023 – FINALLY. I had a hiatus though from 2019 to 2022.

    xp to get from level 49 to 50 is more than it takes to get to level 1 to 40😭

    Start working on your Platinum Medals now. You’ll need 200 for a level a little later and it. Sucks. So. Hard.

    I see posts like this and I struggle to understand why level 40 is such a milestone. I created my account in November and am positioned to hit 40 in 12 days from today.

    Same. Also caught a shiny aron and stantler while sitting at home less than an hour after hitting level 40. Spent 20 minutes evolving Pokémon for the last 120k xp
