Couldn’t care any less about Rex if I tried but man, more Shulk is my jam! And there’s Alvis. And the Bionis Leg. God, I love this series^^

Wave 4 Story DLC tease was the height of the entire direct for me.
Will we be able to just buy dlc wave 4 without buying all the rest of the DLC? I don’t care about the extra characters, only the story DlC

To be fair, this is most likely a different incarnation of Rex that doesn’t have the original’s memories, same as Shulk. I was thinking the fact that the second “mentor” had a beard, which we didn’t see in that picture of grown up Rex, meant that it might not be him, but I held out hope. Same with Alvis being Moebius A, and probably secretly the seventh hero as well, >!and Riku.!<
Also, holy shit, Vandham!Noah is even more [Fei](https://worldwalkerblogdotcom.files.wordpress.com/2015/06/fei_fong_wong.jpg) than he was before. I wonder who his “granddad” is? I’m thinking “family” is gonna be a major theme in this DLC, with the other “mentor” being >!N’s son!< (and the original wielder of Noah’s sword, or at least its sheath, which will later be modified into a prosthetic arm), along with the still-won’t-be-confirmed implication that >!Rex is Mio’s father, or at least a very good friend of her mother!<. I have my suspicions that the two female heroes who didn’t have statues may be Pyra’s and Mythra’s daughters, and then of course there’s the fact that >!Alvis is Pyra/Mythra/Pneuma’s brother!<. When you factor marriages into it, the only character who wouldn’t be related to the others would be Shulk. Unless you consider him >!a reincarnation of Klaus, who could be seen as Alvis’s father.!<
I am playing through 3 right now, but I feel like this trailer just spoiled the game for me.
So, now all 3 supercomputers have issues.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 DLC was probably my GotY the year it released, so I’m really excited for this one.
The rogue-like mode already sounds hype! I dunno if I was really looking for a fan-service story mode but I’m sure they will make it a good story. 🙂
For some reason I thought the silhoutted character was from Kingdom Hearts, further backed up by some dude calling him heartless lol.
Neat to see Rex, but it’s not going to save XC3 for me.
I wonder if buying the season pass will be cheaper again than getting the story expansion separately. It’s the only thing I’m interested in.
The new blade looks like she’ll be very versatile and tailored to your play style.
I recently beat XB2 then Torna so giving myself some breathing room before I dive back into Xenoblade, but boy am I excited to get immersed in 3.

I had to rewatch the clip a couple times to notice, but Man Rex is most definitely dual-wielding Pyra and Mythra’s Aegis swords.

Hype to the maximum level
Rex got that chad build like Zeke now, ya love to see it. Excited to find out how involved the DLC will be, Monolith Soft could go 2-for-2 on the expansion feeling like a whole new game attached like how Torna was!
That volume 4 just made me buy the expansion pass when I usually don’t… HOLY SHIT!
So many good things. I really dig the rogue lite mode too.
But yea that tease was the highlight for me.
Holy God !!! Monolith is really leader in game graphic optimisation.
