My biggest take away from this is that they hired Chris Pratt to just say the classic Mario lines instead of Martinet. Everybody else in the cast has had some level of dialogue showcased that isn’t just expressions.
I feel like Illumination knows Pratt’s voice is shit and will just continue to hide it until release.

There are points where I forget this an Illumination movie. There’s no pop music, they aren’t showing that amny jokes, and are just focusing more on the setpieces.
