Well deserved. Was one of the best Nintendo directs I’ve ever seen

Everyone was watching for Tears of The Kingdom.
loztriforce
Thankfully a lack of farming sims

Maybe Metroid will be primed to return in quantity releases if the remaster was near the peak.

Watched for a potential Metroid Prime 4 drop. Was pleasantly surprised and satisfied with the remaster drop instead
CassaniRae
I was watching for Silksong news.. alas. 😅

The only thing I cared about was the Advance Wars 1+2 Reboot Camp announcement.
JapanOrSomething
I was hoping for any Yakuza Game

It started out with a good opener, that is Pikmin 4.
After the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Splatoon3 DLC content drops,
The point where the Direct starts getting good is the Gameboy & Gameboy Advance additions to the NSO & NSO Expansion respectively.
And then Metroid Prime Remaster was announced & a digital shadow drop on the eShop, same day!
Then, there was the MK8D Wave 4 Booster Course announcement, with Advance Wars 1+2: Reboot Camp finally getting a launch date.
Of course, more LOZ:TOTK which closes off the Direct nicely.
Additional highlights: A slew of downloadable demos for Octopath Traveller II & Sea of Stars. Nice.
This is one of the best Nintendo Direct’s I have ever seen.

i think it was clear for me it was a direct lineup for a console nearing the end of its cycle
But tears of kingdom, pikmin, baten kaitos, metroid shadow drop, layton finally, that xc3 dlc..more than enough for February direct
I am however wondering if they will have a June direct, otherwise it will be more disappointing tho because the summer is near empty
ShockaZuluu
Was a banger! Sea of Stars demo was a nice surprise!

What a juggernaut of an entertainment company.

It’s good to see that people are watching Nintendo Directs even if there is no smash news
KyleB1035
I wanted to watch, but I got busy sadly…
dekuweku
That’s a good number, but what were the numbers from previous directs for comparison?
Lalapopsy
I’m surprised, considering how bad this direct was.

Yeah this one was great! Hardly any farming sims this time around!
Vazhox
Anything good announced?

The hype was really there, and I would say they mostly delivered.

Dude this is a damn good year for nintendo. They’ve got most of their mascots having a game aside from Mario. And each of them represent a different style of game as well. We have Metroid for metroidvania, Zelda fraction adventure, Pikmin for RTS, Fire Emblem first turn-based strategy, and Kirby for.. whatever it is Kirby is lol. I swear to God if a Mario game is revealed and released in this year it will be absolutely mind-blowing

Apart from BIRDO it’s a shame there wasn’t much good news for all those people watching
AtsignAmpersat
I enjoyed it. I saw some people say it was bad because it didn’t have any new first party Switch games announced. Like come on people.
LosBrad
I want to get a Switch but my buddy tells me there is a new one coming. True or nah?

It was the best Nintendo Direct i’ve seen in a couple of years.
conswoon
I will happily buy a physical copy of metroid prime remastered to show my support for future releases in the metroid series.
