Well deserved. Was in my top 3 games from last year.
looked up the other winners… definitely felt like “We really liked God of War, but Elden Ring was better. So GOTY and Achievement to Elden Ring and everything else goes to God of War”

It’s ok, I’m a bit disappointed that you don’t plot your moves like in the first one, and puzzles are “move a box a bit”.
Stil better than any other tactical shooter solely because you don’t miss 99% shots with a scoped rifle on 20meter distance.
I feel bad for this game. Really shot themselves in the foot by having the first game on sale so often. People just don’t see it as a full priced game due to a ton of them getting the first one on sale for like 5 bucks.
It wasn’t really a family friendly year video game wise. But Mario+rabbids deserves this, I’m sad it did not perform as well as Ubi hoped because the team made a great game better on all point than the first one.

The art jury actually played Elden Ring ? Ragnarok is amazing but to see a dead space wish edition nominated and not Elden Ring..it’s laughable
How was Kirby and the Forgotten Land not in the list? I know my kids have loved this title, and it’s had more engagement from the younger ones than other other game. It’s honestly a great family title, and mystified that Kirby Buffet is here but not Forgotten Land.
I loved the first game, but didn’t really get into this one.
Giving the Rabbids a different voice and actual voice acting was unbearable for me. So annoying.
They were perfect in the first game, why change it?

I would have expected Kirby and the Forgotten Land. I beat the main campaign and it was really delightful and just a beautiful looking game.

Great game. Recently completed kingdom battle and playing this now, love both. Also they graphically amazing for switch!
