I did something similar to this (I didn’t add magnets, I just wanted a square controller grip) with my grip the week the original Switch came out and I loved it. It made the controller look cool and it didn’t bother me from an ergonomic standpoint. The magnets are a great idea though and I wish I’d thought of that then! Now I don’t have that Switch or it’s accessories anymore and I appreciate the grippy bits but this is still very cool.
