    I’m surprised it’s releasing that soon considering that it was teased in the direct with only a Spring release window. You would think they would drop the release date in the direct considering it will release in a little less than three weeks from the announcement.

    At first, I thought this was going to be the Splatoon 1 campaign remastered. Kinda feels like a missed opportunity. And yes, I know there’s a new campaign coming later.

    I still don’t know if I understood correctly, is the first part of the Expansion just the Wii U Splatoon 1 Lobby, nothing more?, or is there any extra campaign or new modes?

    So I don’t agree this is entirely useless but would it have killed them to include 1’s campaign? A lot of Splatoon fans never experienced that and I can’t imagine it would take that much work since the level design and stuff is all done. Would at least be something new gameplay wise.

    I’ll admit, I think splatsville has a really confusing and noisy layout. I’ll probably be swapping to inkopolis.

    Can I legitimately ask what is the point of Splatoon 3 if it’s the same thing as 2 except for barely new weapons and just some maps instead of selling this like one huge expansion like monster hunter iceborne/sunbreak

    As a massive splatoon fan I could not be less interested in the return of a prior hub world… I already use the menu to bypass the hub world at almost every opportunity

    Why do so many people here feel the need to defend this dlc, even when others have pointed out the legitimate flaw of asking $30 for this while having to wait indefinitely for the more meaningful part?

    It’s fine if you’re happy with it. It’s ok if it’s worth it to you. So why not just say THAT? Instead, you have to defend Nintendo and make others seem like they don’t have the right to complain. This is not the right way to think as a consumer despite you thinking you are right. This type of defending is the reason why game companies are getting worse as time goes on in terms of value, or rather, lack of value.
