Hey if you’re having trouble getting the official NSO 64 controller like I am this looks like an awesome alternative.
The [Retro Brawler64](https://retrofighters.com/our-collection/brawler64-bluetooth-wireless-nintendo-switch-switch-online-pc-video-game-controller/)
They’re in stock and from what I hear they work great. I just ordered mine and will send an update after I get it.

Does this work with PC also?
I have one and can confirm this a great 3rd party alternative. It’s really comfortable to use and feels to be built with quality in mind.
Highly recommend this to anyone who wants a more authentic playing experience with the N64 Switch online
It is a very decent controller (don’t buy the white one tho… the N64 was color coded for a reason)
It definitely improves the playability of N64 games (I kept on hitting the wrong buttons on switch controllers, now it feels infinitely more natural)
The build quality is alright… no more no less. It matches the price. I don’t regret my purchase
Can confirm these are great. I actually have an NSO official controller and prefer this anyways. What’s great is that it is seen by the switch as an official N64 controller so the NSO mapping is seamless but can also change it to a pro controller with the press of a button.
I had one of the original Retro Fighters Brawler 64s and it was a total bust. Analog stick was too sensitive and it stopped working after about a month. The button layout is good, but the build quality is cheap.
I don’t have one for the Switch, but I do have one for the N64 and it works great. The joystick is a tad sensitive, so it isn’t the best for games that require precision (such as Mario 64), but it works great for everything else. Nothing is going to beat the feel of a tight Nintendo OEM joystick, but this is the next best thing imo.
Are the switch N64 ones ever going to be in stock for a second time? I had one in my cart twice and messed it up both times.
So, like a few people who weren’t part of the original Kickstarter, I didn’t realize there are multiple versions of this pad and that the early ones are intended for actual n64 hardware – I ordered one to go with my switch, and the third party sellers dont make finding the right one easy.
I just received a brawler64 wireless with the n64 port + pak dongle. Does anyone know if it functions over USB with anything, or could be flashed to read as a generic gamepad? Otherwise it’s not useful to me unfortunately.
