Really hope Star Force gets a collection next! I know a lot of people didn’t like the change of perspective combined with Mega Man’s being limited to a 3×1 grid, but I found the cards a bit more fun than chips. Plus, it’s the same universe as Battle Network.

I want physical copy in Australia but we have so far is digital. Should I wait or import?

    > We’re also shining a light on something that will undoubtedly excite long-time Battle Network fans. Would you like to illuminate us, Mr. Famous?

    > “With permission from Konami, the Boktai collaboration contents have been included in this collection! Unfortunately, crossover battles with the Boktai series won’t be possible. The games in Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection are based on the original Japanese games on Game Boy Advance that required a physical connection to the Boktai series games to access collaboration contents. That said, the Boktai collaboration Battle Chips, newly translated stories, and Patch Cards will be available! These collaborations are available in Mega Man Battle Network 4, 5, and 6.”

    > Long-time fans are already aware, but to get others up to speed, this content was not available in Western releases of Mega Man Battle Network games. This marks the first time that some of this content will be made available in territories outside Japan!

It’s finally happening! Not sure there’s any content (from the mainline GBA games) they’ve left out at this point, which is excellent.

I am so pumped for these. This was the only Mega Man for me.

It… still sucks that some of the games will be missing other features:

    * BN1 was re-released on the DS in 2009 (Operate Shooting Star), but only in Japan. It featured an extra chapter with Mega Man Star Force.
    * BN5 had a DS port in 2005 (Double Team), released worldwide. It featured rearranged music, extra bonus music (if you slotted a previous GBA BN game) and swappable characters (based on their roles). For instance, in Team Protoman, you recruit Magnet Man, while in Team Colonel, you recruit Knight Man. During Liberation Missions, you can swap the two, such as using Magnet Man with Colonel’s team, and Knight Man with Protoman’s team. One key difference is that despite playing the same role, they have unique effects on the field, in addition of their own respective abilities.

This is coupled with the missing games:

    * Battle Chip Challenge
    * 4.5 Real Operation
    * Phantom of Network (mobile, Japan only)
    * Legend of Network (mobile, Japan only)

I totally forgot this was coming out! I recently downloaded a MMBN3 rom and I’ve been playing the heck out of it for the last few weeks. What a great series, it’s amazing to see it still getting love.

Not caring unless they also include MegaMan STARFORCE like should’ve been from Start!! Makes no sense.

Really excited for this. However, poor timing with Zelda coming out in May.

I’m really bummed that this and Advanced Wars Reboot Camp didn’t make the late 2022 timeframe. There seem to be more opportunities to game around the holidays and heading into winter. Whatever time I have this spring and summer to play games will go to Zelda.

I can’t decide if I should buy this on Steam (because it’s cheaper on my region) or on the Switch to play it portable (because Valve doesn’t sell the Steam Deck here)

This is a great collection with tons of content looking forward to diving into all these games at somepoint Legends collection next Capcom? Pls?

  11. crazylegs6528

The Boktao games were so much fun, too bad it never got that popular 🙁

I’ll never forget beating Battle Network 3, I was playing in the car on the way home from somewhere and it had gotten dark, and I was playing on an OG GBA without a backlight or anything. Was trying to fight the final boss using the occasional streetlight to see and that’s it haha. I did it somehow!!

  13. Thurashen88

I loved the art style for these games and how detailed the environment were.

  14. Great_Cheesy_Taste

Im surprised to see so many starforce fans in these comments tbh, I played the first couple after being a massive battle network fan and the combat just felt so flat to me. I probably would love it with the classic 3×3 grid combat.

  15. Lucamiten

While i was watching the stream i was hoping that they announce online battles as an added bonus 🙁

  16. CentralJoel

Here’s hoping for actual online support and possible tournament playability, those who know, know!.

  17. Jakeoliciouz

Cool!! When will Starforce be getting one??

  18. InfinityPlayer

Is the gameplay in the video what we’re gonna get? I loved the old BN series and bought them all, but it looks a little too low quality even though thats the original style?

  19. Napalm32

I’m going to need to fit some time into my schedule to grind out all these games from the beginning for the nostalgia once this drops! I’m so hyped

  20. I was hoping they would make a battle network collection with the first 3 games, and then Capcom went and made a 10 game collection and surpassed all of my greatest expectations. I cannot wait for this to be released!

  21. jpanni3333

Maybe Nintendo can patch the lag for mega man 1-6…
    It sucks…

  22. LeonhardAppleby

Anyone know when the show is supposed to be on their YouTube?

  23. Intelligent_Local_38

This collection is a dream come true. So hyped!
