Shame there doesn’t seem to be an EU eshop sale. Eshop is red and there’s a Mario section on the front page but all still full price?

I’ve been a Nintendo fan my entire life but the ‘sales’ they do drive me crazy. DK Tropical Freeze came out almost TEN years ago and it’s ‘on sale’ for $40!?! They are out of their minds.

Idk why but for the longest time I thought Yoshis Crafted World was a Wii U port so I had no interest in buying it. Then I pulled out my Wii U and saw that it wasn’t a port and it’s own game. Thinking about buying that one while on sale

DKTF for $40. Idk how I feel about that price. I’d love to get the game on Switch but unlike a lot of the other ports, I don’t think it added enough and it’s older than my 2nd grader child.

This is why I don’t buy Switch games from Nintendo. I buy used/rent and have saved myself hundreds.
Tropical freeze is 9 years old… that thing needs a price down…or a better discount.

If you’re looking for a semi-challenging, beauuuutifully designed platformer, and have $40 that you won’t miss…. Go ahead and grab it! There is nothing wrong with the game itself so if the price isn’t your issue and you’re wondering “but is the game actually good?” Yes…. Yes it is. It was a pretty memorable experience for me playing thru it all.
Yoshi’s Crafted World is beautiful, too, but far less challenging (much more appropriate for kids) and much easier to complete. So if deciding between the two, you get more of your moneys’ worth with DK TF in my humble opinion.
