I don’t remember giving my tropius 36 treats… does this mean others have been generous this whole time??

Yes. Other trainers will frequently give your Pokemon berries, cuz it gives them Stardust.

Giving a berry in a gym gets you stardust and a small (~~5-10%?)~~ chance of getting a candy matching the fed mon. So a less common type like yours may have gotten a few people hoping for candy.
Edited to add: I apparently misremembered the candy stats. I was probably going from you having a 10-ish% of getting at least one candy from feeding the max ten berries, but the individual odds are much lower.

Yes you get stardust for feeding berries so I empty my stored berries whenever I can, feeding all possible Pokemon

Never use the default Apple editing pen thing to cross out info, it’s absolutely horrible at it.

Yep, when I feed my boys at the gyms I also feed whoever is there with them. I think I fed 300 berries to my longest lasting rural gym buddies

Yes, other trainers are trying to get those Tropius candies

yes Stardust > Berries
Zedlor75
I give others berries because I fill up on berries very often

I feed berries to all of the ones in a gym on a ski resort in BC daily. I keep hoping for candy, but I’ll happily take the stardust I get. I think one in that gym is up to 350 berries.

I’m going to the Stafford Motor Freeway to kill your tropius

on other note, who else suspect that when u can’t add to the empty slot cause it’s under raid but then when the raid it’s done it’s been taken over by full team at the soonest – that is actually one person playing with many other accounts or handphones also.

I always give pokemon candy which I am in the gym with. It’s an investment because you’ll stay there longer and it’s a nice thing to do. But I do check for how long someones pokemon is in there because I don’t want them to be there forever xD

Yup, maybe they already earned their 50 coins for the day

Isnt it just people emptying their bags for stardust?
