Besides for nostalgia, is there any need for these controllers? I could see maybe the N64 version, but not any others.
Kind of related (could be used in lieu), the Nintendo US store once again has the Pro controller in stock. Was unavailable for a while.

These are actually selling out? I haven’t checked the US Nintendo store in a while, but I remember them being in stock a lot. The controllers are actually quite awkward, since you can only charge them on the Switch itself. Very bad design in my opinion.

I’m debating picking up the NES controllers. I have the SNES one and feel like old NES games are just fine with the newer controller
