100%. Because they are friends of yours and you battled them. Those aren’t Go Battle League fights.

Yeah this happened sometimes for me. Recognised their outfit and they deploy the same mons. Sometimes they vibes well

I had two random trainers (of 5 total) join a raid I hosted through Poke-genie, names were essentially Rocketman and Rocketwoman (with numbers). Stayed friends and exchanged gifts with both after and they’re always in totally different places, so not two halves of a couple trying to raid at the same time.
