I know they’re all about “interactivity” but instead of adding new features they’re making it worse by making the existing features less accessible, like this and Pokemon exclusive to elite raids.

Leggo raids have been hosting remote raids on GOFRIEND exclusively for almost two years now.
More expensive remotes = less people avaliable to join remote lobbies.

I think… I think I’m done. Man, I’ve been playing since launch, and I’ve mostly enjoyed the journey… but damn if the last few years haven’t been just… awful.
Niantic is building a game for the whales because that’s who makes them money. Anyone more casual than that isn’t welcome to play. These kinds of decisions just solidify that fact. If they wanted to “encourage people to ‘go out and GO'” then they’d just remove remote raid passes completely.
I literally struggle to get 200 coins a week just for two passes

If theyāre so desperate to get our location data, how about making it possible to remote raid with a premium battle pass once youāre at a local gym. They can act like a portal to other gyms. Iāll even scan the bloody thing if thatās what it takes.
