I’ve never heard of this game, I’m not familiar with it at all, but I can definitely tell that kid’s gonna die.

This game is directed and composed by Laura Shigihara, who also composed the soundtrack of Plants vs Zombies (performed “Zombies on your Lawn”) and sang Deltarune’s credits theme “Don’t Forget”, as well as several other games. Great if you love beautiful story-driven games with equally fantastic music!
Recently, a short follow-up to Rakuen, called Mr. Saitou, has just been released on Steam, and is a part of this edition for Switch.

I played this many years ago on PC and the storytelling is phenomenal. I highly recommend it if you appreciate deep and emotional narratives in games. There’s one scene in particular partway through the game that is accompanied by vocals from the game’s creator (singer Laura Shigihara) and it still haunts me (in a good way) when I think about it. Those of you who have played this game before will likely know what I’m talking about.
