Today, the worst update ever went live in Pokemon GO. You can now only use 5 remote raid passes per day. This update will impact the hardcore grinders of this game and many others who solely rely on remote raiding. The new rewards went live for in person raids but, they do not outweigh the heavy nerf. Well now since this update is upon us I will no longer spend another penny not even on eggs. I'll stick to free to play. I'm happy with my hundo lvl 50 mewtwo lvl 50 dialga and lvl 50 palkia.

It's a good thing L&Z got out there for those in person raids and didn't do them from his room because a gym is on top of where he lives. That wouldn't meet Niantics vision. Niantics plan worked flawlessly! In a way, this video clowns on Niantic and their reason for the update. Love it.

That's a lot of revives for remote raiding. People should get more for in person raiding. People should be guaranteed at least 3 and remote raiding shouldn't more than 3. That's if they want people to also feel like it's worth trying to randomly raid in person throughout the day. A lot of times, the revives are hard to find. Yes people can buy them, but it's nice to get them from raiding.

Damn, +3 XLs that‘s actually not bad. Turns out the update really makes it easier to max legendaries, for me at least. Price reduction in raid passes plus more XLs!
I know we're all talking about the changes we don't like. I'd just like to share one positive. So far the couple of raids I've done since the change have given me pretty substantial rare candies. Even just doing a 3 star executor raid gave me 3 XL candies as well as a few rare candies. We'll see if it stays this consistent but if it does, it means we will be able to still max out legendaries despite not doing as many legendary raids. If a new legendary comes out for example, you'd just need to get yourself to one legendary raid within the week or two weeks that Pokemon will be out. Then just do easier raids daily to get all the candy you need. Maybe even just grind a whole bunch of three star raids in a day to collect a substantial amount.

To be honest we was getting anywhere from 3-5 xl candies so I don’t see the difference besides losing the guaranteed xl candies from doing it in person if you do the raid remotely. This is a joke but I’m still going to play regardless just not going to put money on my account like I use too. ✌️
Kind of amused. Struggling stopping spending money on games and there is it! I didn't use to pay before remote raid were introduced (also did not catch legendaries as I'm single player) and now they are giving me the biggest update I needed 😅
For the ones who will pay so much for a remote raid, I just hope starting now the legendary in the raid is 100% catchable and shiny rates are increased.

I've gotten so used to farming so much Razz Golden Berries with the remote raids and now I have to do it in person. I'm really trying to be positive about all this, and so far I've come up with a strategy. Do in person raids if I feel like it during the day and do Remote Raids at night. Seems promising. Though I'm still angry about this change, I'll see if I can get used to this or just end up quitting. We'll see.
