Niantic is a garbage company that got lucky with pogo
I’ll never spend money on this game again
A few years back the CEO of Costco told the founder they needed to raise the price of a hot dog/soda combo. The founder responded “I will kill you.”
Their hot dogs and fountain drinks stayed the same price for decades
This is what can happen when the CEO cares about the customers
They lose money on the hot dog and drink but make it up when people buy 2 large boxes of cheese or three crates of lemon juice.
I love this trend

At this point I’d trust a Kirkland Signature mobile Pokémon game than Niantic
Maybe I can start offering people hot dogs and a pop to raid with me…
And just like Costco’s hotdog, we have all the beef with Niantic.

Imagine paying a dollar to do a raid and not catching it..
AND Costco is a perfect example where they said they will never raise the price even though they could. In fact, they have said it is not a money maker. The reason Costco keeps it, is because it’s staple of the Costco experience. It gets people into their doors. People like this. You don’t see Costco raising prices to force us to order other things on their menu.
Niantic NEEDS to take a page out Costco’s book.

To be fair, the Costco hot dog combo is the greatest deal known to mankind. Literally nothing can possibly be a better value. At that price you’d expect a mediocre dog at best, and you’d be completely wrong. The dog surpasses all expectations *and* you get a fountain drink with it.
And you don’t ever lose your catch!
And very delicious
$1.50 for 40 ounces of soda is a fucking STEAL.
