It’s crazy to see it go from 1k+ people waiting to fully open lobbies 😕

It’s also been available for a while now. A better comparison will be when the raid boss changes.

Sadly… they’re alienating a big chunk of their community (involving me). I don’t wanna see the game die but if it’s the only way for them to start listening to the community then so be it.

Had a situation yesterday when I hosted an +8 Lugia Lobby. One of the participants couldn’t join when I invited them because the had already finished their daily 5 remote raids.

You must not pay attention to raids as it’s pretty common at the end of a 2 week legendary for the raids to die down. Less people need more Lugia so why would they raid it a bunch.

Tried hosting a raid…..it is a complete shit show. The raid timed out and there were still 150 lobbies ahead of me. I started the lobby within 3 min of egg hatching…i am not hopeful that will change when new pokemon is in tier 5 raid. It will probably be MUCH worse

They got what they wanted. I wonder what they will do next.

April looks like its going to rough and probably Lobbies only most of the time.
We need something that’s a little more popular (but not Ray/Mewtwo/Removed limit events) to see what the 5 raid limit actually does.

Bruh, It’s absolutely normal when specific Pokémon is 2nd week in a rotation…

The real test of how many people quit and how remote raiding will be will come when the new legendary hits poke genie in a little over a day. Toward the end of a Pokémon’s run, raids always drop off because most people have already gotten their fill. I’m not saying they were always this low, just that they were lower. But since I’ve been remote raiding, the first day of a new legendary has always had tens of thousands of people waiting to raid. 30, 40 thousand people. All I’m saying is that tomorrow we should see, if the player base has really dropped significantly. If there’s only 10k or something like that, something like that happening we can say for sure that the change has had a negative impact on the number of remote raiders.

That’s normal for the end of the second week of a two week legendary.

I uninstalled it so I’m not tempted to do $2 raids, even if they are capped. That’s $10 a day.

Lugia has been out on how many different occasions now? This one offered nothing new so people don’t care about it. I raided one, got my hundo, moved on with life as I’ve already got a half dozen shinies.

I found a Lugia raid last night and was wanting to try and catch one. Unfortunately nobody was online to raid with so I had to abandon the raid and go home

Went from 2 days worth of coins to 4 days worth. Can only do half the raids I could so it goes from 0 to 1 a day to 0.

And que the Niantic mass layoffs and the blame for them being laid at the players feet for not supporting a doubled remote raid pass price and mass uninstalling of the game world wide… yep its all the players fault. Wonder how much money the UNWTO will funnel Niantic to bail them out.
Probably zilch.

Less than a week turnaround from helping players all across the world connect with each other and help each other out. I’m at least glad I got in a few raids from really far-away places before Niantic nuked the whole thing because now I have PoGo friends in South Korea, Japan, UK, etc. to exchange gifts and postcards with.
But apparently, that’s something Niantic doesn’t want happening. And I can’t get fully behind any business model that explicitly doesn’t want people to expand their world and meet people in different places.

Everyone’s boycotting doing raids. Screw Niantic, don’t give them any money anymore
