Just wait for the Singaporean Grandmas to walk by on their daily walk. Explain the joys of raiding to them and ask them to help you out!
You’re playing it wrong. You simply have to predict when a 5* raid will spawn and create a lobby hours before it does so you might make it in time to host!

Well, this is a lesson: don’t host on raid hour, if you want to do it queue at least 1 or 2 hour before. I think the speed rate is around 15 minutes for 100 hosts.
Just got 7 people via reddit, I normally use r/pokemongoraids and the mega thread on r/pokemongofriends
Of course it’s not guaranteed, but it can be better if poke genie and such have that long queues

Joined one earlier today. No problem, 9 attending. Got a 4*. Got it with a Great throw.
That number just raised up to 1,4k with raid hour in Europe
I hosted a raid on another sub and got over 13 friend requests. Maybe it could just be a timing thing? I did it right after my shellder hour last night.
I rely on a remote invite. Might not get one of those, either.
And niantic doesn’t care. Their response: “why don’t you get your friends to play our game so we can make more money and you can actually enjoy some of the mechanics? Clearly this is your fault.”
Use Go Raids. I never had problem finding full party before or after the update.

I know right? At one point it was past 1700. I haven’t seen anything that extreme since the Ultrabeast raids. Of course it was the opposite problem, too many raiders cued up for regional exclusives.
This is what they wanted. They are creating a situation where you need to either a) form a raid crew in-person, or b) form a raid crew online. Matchmaking services no longer work w/ the reduced pool of remote raiders.
The shame of this, for players, is it *massively* privileges players who live in cities and/or use multiple accounts (in violation of the purported terms of service). The whole thing stinks of bad game design skills or perverse incentives for the developer (where gathering data and exploiting whales is more important than creating a good experience for the average player).
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: there’s a boycott. I struggle to have sympathy for scabs.
I never logged in during that season, and I’ll never get that quest.
Haven’t even seen a Landorus raid in my area. I keep checking in case any screen will show a camera.
I play pg with my son on casual walks. Without remote raid, it’s impossible for two of us. Who have time to schedule around this game?

Good luck trying to catch him if you can even beat him. I’ve fought 12 Landorus and have only caught four 2-stars and im doing them all in-person. raiding in this game has become a complete joke, say what you want about dataminers but i KNOW they nerfed the catch rates and IVs because the landorus and blastoise have supremely sucked balls compared to every other raid the last few months

Yeah queues are going to be long today.
My free time is early in the mornings. The only other people in the parks are the addicts snorting substances off the benches. The only way I can beat legendary raids is with help from remote raiders. Raiding is dead for me now.
Makes me grateful all my coworkers play and that we have a gym right where we work. I really can’t imagine it being possible otherwise.

Why are stupid people still buying remote raid passes? If everyone stopped doing raids both in person and remote then we can get the message across
Then find people that play in your area, delete the app, or keep wasting your time pssing and moaning here or as they say “preaching to the choir”. The only people that feel bad for you are the people that are also too lazy too raid in person. The game didn’t have remote raids for so long. Get over it. It’s not coming back. If you want a Pokémon game where you sit there and play, just play poke let’s go eevee on switch.

Idk bout your circumstances but it took maybe 5 minutes for both my hosts. worked like a charm
I was in a remote raid yesterday. The line wasn’t long, and six of us, all remote but the host, beat it handily.
I had no problem at 7 a.m. EST.
