The current legendary in tier 5 raids is always a possible encounter after reaching rank 20.
When you reach level 20 in GBL the current legendary in raids is added to the encounters you can get for winning 3 battles in a set (or 1 if you used a premium raid pass for your set)

Got a landorus last night from PvP. It doesn’t happen frequently but there is a chance of it happening sometime.
Yup, although they recently significantly dropped the rate… which sucks but oh well. I ended up getting a shiny zapdos from this awhile back, haven’t seen a legendary since lol
