It’s copy and paste. They didn’t read your previous response beyond keywords and have a pre-written “catch-all” for the topic.
I’ve had a similar situation in the past.
They act as if their in-game notifications are to be taken as gospel, while also secretly amending them, or even posting changes and corrections on other platforms with no in-game notification at all.
It’s super frustrating because I do a physical pokemon calendar every month, and highlighter and ink pen are not the easiest to make corrections to.

Has anyone actually researched it? In the book, the guy is deliberately trying to make his wife think she’s crazy by hiding things, turning lights on and then being angry at her for losing papers and turning lights on. It’s a long term form of emotional abuse, not just regular lying, or in this case they didn’t read the complaint properly.

Niantic has always gas lit, but it’s an unfortunate byproduct of their piss poor communication with the player base. They’ve always done this, when there’s a mistake in official comms, they edit it, with no evidence of edit history or what was there before. Admittedly I’d rather they edit and fixed it than leave the wrong information up, however I’ve gone through dozens of situations where I say “x”, someone counters with no it’s “y”, and then when I go check, x is now y with no evidence of x ever existing
Dunno what the answer is, also don’t get paid to figure it out, just another example of them being God awful at their jobs

At this point I’m genuinely becoming spiteful at this company. I want them feel any and all inconvenience in response to their sheer incompetence.
Relegating the game’s economy and the remote raid controversy is a different sphere of issues relating to approach, but continuous content failure and blatant false advertising is irrefutably unacceptable.
They seriously need to do better.
