UPDATE And just like that Pokemon Go confirmed the Shaymin research! It'll be available April 20th at 10 AM local time! Even Go Fest 2022 ticket holders can catch it again!

Thanks for the update as always. The Mystic Hero Event was so lame! I didn't get the Shiny Lapras from it but to be honest, I don't really care too much. I'll play the event for Instinct as well but I do have a feeling that that event is going to be just as lackluster as the one for Mystic was

as a person who couldn't purchase the shaymin research, i believe this will be an exceptional return!
to me it seems like they are introducing these costumed Pokemon in special events but they will return at Go Fest/Safari Zone or such event in the future. (mostly because we would need 3 of these elekids to complete the family) ,I mean at some point niantic always "destroys" the value of some rare shiny Pokemon, except for the first black cap Pikachu or something haha.. lets see, I wouldnt mind the Lapras spawning at Go Fest/Safari Zone

That would be nice if it was Magmar but I think it might be Ponyta that would be very hot particularly because it’s a fire type. Magmar would be hot too but it would be a hot dumpster fire partly because of the research aspects of it. I like Elekid so I’ll do it though it would be lame as the Lapras event was but I got three good things coming out of it. Shiny Gardevior, Shiny Chimeco, and almost a hundo costumed Lapras that was 14,14,13, on the iv’s still an L but considering the other W’s I got that is not bad at all. Overall it was a 5 out of 10 event. The bonuses were awesome, the research was okay for me because it got fixed probably. I heard that it was botched for some people in other countries shame on Niantic for that. So the highlights were what I mentioned earlier. The next event and the raid hour hopefully is better then all of that garbage. I ❤ this video bro. Also shout out to @amanshow2814 who got the shiny congrats.

really if you played the event to any depth it wasn't that bad with the mystic event. if you had a good amount of regular candy for a pokemon that spawns easily you could just evolve a bunch of them and stock up on xl candy big time. normal rate is 100 – 1. event rate equaled out mostly to 12.5 – 1, 8 times as good!
Im hoping that these bonuses continue in the upcoming event, I'm thinking guaranteed rare xl for valor, who knows with instinct they are a weird bunch theme wise
Why would you not be able to get another shaman? It’s a mythical so it cannot be traded so I don’t see why they would care about you having more than one but I’ll definitely take the candy.

Elekid is a baby pokemon tho. I don't think baby pokemon have ever been in research encounters? Aren't they egg-exclusive?
I wonder when the next time Niantic will inform trainers that they can evolve Electabuzz into Electavire to learn it's legacy move fire punch?
Weird elekid is a baby Pokémon and only appears in eggs so maybe we’d be getting an egg from the research that has a guaranteed elekid hatch?
