    Aw crap. I was enjoying the Advance Wars campaign. And then this drops out of nowhere. When I was expecting it in August or September.

    I guess it can wait a few days…

    Oh, joy. Even more continous support and updates for an almost year-old game when many other franchises have been starving / not gotten any support in years.

    I got off work in the morning thinking I was coming home to enjoy this only to find out that it was unlocking while I was sleeping for work tonight. Sigh. Oh well. At least it’s my “Friday” and I’ll have my weekend to dig into this.

    I’m a big xenoblade fan but didn’t love 3 as much as I wanted. Felt like the story pacing and writing was bad near the end of the game. Would it be worth grabbing the expansion pass still?

    Is anyone else having issues getting the DLC to work? There’s no option to play it on the main menu, and when I try to load one of my normal saves it says “please download DLC data to continue playing” and takes me to the eShop. But there’s no option to redownload anything, just a thing saying “purchased”.

    Edit: Found the issue, or at least the solution. Despite the game taking me to the DLC’s eShop page when it told me to redownload it, that’s not where the “redownload” option is. You have to go into your profile through the icon in the top right, and that’s where the list of stuff to redownload is. Dunno why the DLC data got deleted to begin with, though.

    I think I’m gona wait a week and see how long Future Redeemed is and if a physical release will be announced.

    I’ve put XC3 aside after Splatoon 3 dropped last year, recently just picked it up again after the hype of the final DLC. Would be a great time to get the expansion and get the additional 2 heroes.

    Is the season pass worth getting before I start the game or is it all post-mainline content?

    I have a question: is there anyone here who bought the expansion pass from a different region than the main game? I know some games have region-free DLC compatibility (like Fire Emblem Warriors, for example), but other games do not. I know that you can check this if a game shows up as having been purchased on multiple regional shops, but I have the physical EU version, so I cannot check that way. Just wondering if I can buy the NA Expansion Pass, since I have some funds there already. If nobody can answer this, I’ll just buy the EP from the EU eShop to be safe.

    Is this like a normal expansion where it adds extra areas/story/etc to the main game? Or is it like Xenoblade 2 Torna where it’s almost like a separate game
